PRESIDENT'S REPORT
Bob Rolfe

Hello fellow club members:

It is November and at this point Roger's Cruz-in is over. I want to take this time to recognize all of the volunteers who worked endlessly month after month to organize this event. It is probably the most time consuming and well-organized event that this club ever does.

Every year it gets better and better and it didn't happen just overnight. It took months of planning, breaking down tasks to manageable details and many, many volunteers to carry those tasks out. Did you know that over 1/3rd of the club was involved behind the scenes to make this event happen!

A thank you goes out to our sponsors whose donations towards trophies and auction items are greatly appreciated. And a big thank you to Roger who has been such a large part of making this project what it is today.

Words cannot express my deepest heartfelt thank you to all of you. It is such a blessing in my life to be involved with such a wonderful group of people who reach into their resources of time and energy to make a difference in the lives of those kids at the Russell Home.

On another note, there are several board members that are completing their terms. I would like to again, take this opportunity to say that they really have done a wonderful job.

Although the following people are not board members they have volunteered for some pretty important positions and have served us all well. Serving on the board with these people has made my job as your President this year a pleasure. Please let them know how you feel over the next few meetings or drop them an e-mail and let them know they are appreciated.

Soon there will be some new faces serving at some of these board positions. I have no doubt that you will give them the same enthusiasm and support that you have given this board.

Lastly, you have made CFCA what it is today. Many of you have given so much of yourselves throughout the year. Chairing, co-chairing, serving, or just participating in events. I wish I could list each and every one of you in this letter as I have had the pleasure to work with so many of you this year. However, there are only so many pages in the CFCA Review and I suspect that Mark wants room for the advertisers!

On other item, be sure and sign up for the Christmas party. There has been a team of people working hard to put this event together. It will be fun!

Warmest regards,

Bob

GOVERNOR'S REPORT
Ray Dettore

It's Turkey Time! No, not me. That's right, it's November, time to give thanks and eat some Turkey.

I want to thank all the volunteers that help make the Rogers Cruz'in a great success for the Russell Home. I especially want to thank and acknowledge Roger Judski for being a great host and letting us take over his dealership. I also want to thank Hutch and BJ for all their hard work putting this show together. I know I speak for the both of them; they could not have done it without some great club members stepping up to the plate.

Not much happening on the NCCC front lines to write about.

Sorry for the short article, but work is really starting to have an effect on my social life.

C ya soon and God Bless!

Good Day All!

What a great start to a new month. Just this past week the weather has been great. How many of you had your babies out just cruising along with the top down or off? It's been perfect weather for driving.

Lets review October so far... we had Octobervettes & the Eckler's show. Both have been great. Also, by the way, we handed out several registrations for Roger's Cruiz'in Show. I want to thank everyone so far for pitching in to get this show on the road. By the time you get this newsletter the show will be over and I know it was a Success. Thanks to you all.

Moving on we have the Florida Keys trip coming up that starts on Friday, November 5th. Heading up this wonderful trip are our fearless leaders Hutch & Patti. We will all be meeting at the Cracker Barrel at OBT near Town Center Blvd @ 7:00AM and leaving for the Keys promptly at 8:00am. From my experience last year, it was a very enjoyable trip. For the ones who cannot make the Keys trip, there will be some that will be heading up to Silver Springs for the "Silver Springs Corvette Show". This show also allows free admission into the park, so check it out. It will be a relaxing & enjoyable day.

On November 20th, we have the "Ultimate Corvette Party" at Ferman Chevrolet in Tampa.

By the way, my wife Patty went in front of a committee at her employer, Darden Restaurants. She was making a presentation in hopes that the Russell Home may be the beneficiary of one of the 12 monthly Jeans Days they will be holding in 2005. And great news, it has been approved. Jeans Day for the Russell Home will be in February 2005. This past year jeans day for the Russell Home was very successful.

This month will be holding elections for positions on the board. One position we need, Competition. I need someone to step up and take over as Competition Director. Let's us know if it will be "YOU".

As I always say "Keep your eyes on the road and check the web for all future events."

Have a Great Thanksgiving!

Later,

BJ
