Dear Mr. Welch,

I am writing to urge the Speed Channel to consider picking up the television series, "Corvette, the American Dream" for national syndication.

The series has been airing for two years now but is still only available in limited geographical areas. As an enthusiast of America's only true and original sports car, I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to view a new show every week including segments on racing, Corvette history, product reviews and installations, high profile interviews, and so much more.

Corvette is an American icon and recently celebrated its 50th anniversary in a GM sponsored event in Nashville, Tennessee with over 10,000 enthusiasts in attendance. The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is the state's 2nd largest tourist attraction. Corvette clubs are extremely active in every state and dozens of countries worldwide. Corvette is still the American Dream… still the one vehicle every young boy (and girl) dreams of owning someday… and still has the most loyal following of any American built automobile.

Speed has a wonderful lineup, but it would be greatly improved through the addition of "Corvette, the American Dream" in its regular programming, much to the delight of tens of thousands of enthusiasts worldwide.

On behalf of those enthusiasts, and the sponsors with whom they would so eagerly support, I urge you to forward this request to the Speed Channel Program Director, for his serious consideration.

Sincerely,
