Corvettes are Afraid of the Dark:
Lighting Upgrades for Any Corvette

OK, so Corvettes aren't really afraid of the dark (but Corvettes don't really have consciences, or likes and dislikes, either). But a Corvette driver who is behind the wheel of a Corvette without working headlights would probably be in a serious panic, so it's all the same in the end. Effective car lights are crucial for road safety, and aesthetically pleasing car lights are crucial for maintaining the appearance of your car at night or during stormy weather. If you're unsatisfied with the lighting system your Corvette's equipped with, consider some of these Corvette-specific lighting upgrades.

HIDs Corvettes are upscale sports vehicles, and as such, they shouldn't be equipped with generic, run-of-the-mill lighting equipment. If you want car headlights that are brighter and longer lasting than those dated halogens, consider installing some HID headlights. HIDs are 3x brighter and up to 10x as long lasting as typical halogen headlights, already giving them a distinctive advantage over stock headlight technology. Add to that light output that appears more natural, a number of headlight colors from which you can choose, and more, and you've got headlights that were made to be in a Corvette.

LEDs

Tail lights are every bit as important as your car's headlights. If your car's tail lights were busted, for instance, a driver behind your car would have a very difficult time telling when you were slowing down your car or bringing it to a stop. At night, it may be hard for that driver to even see your car at all, especially if his/her own car's headlights weren't working very well. LEDs make for immediately noticeable tail lights. Bright, powerful, and intense in luminosity, LEDs are certain to catch a driver's attention in a way stock Corvette tail lights just can't.

Interior Lights

If you focus all of your energy on exterior lighting upgrades, you'll forget all about the inside of your Corvette. From poorly lit dashes to cabin lights that can barely shine a foot in front of themselves, interior lighting can be a real hassle in a car. Fortunately, with new dash gauges equipped with LED lights, newer bulbs used for main cabin lighting, and more, you can easily brighten up the inside of your car. Just make sure, whatever you do end up installing, to avoid over-lighting the inside of your car. Otherwise, it will be a distraction to other drivers on the road at night.
